Sometimes you need to grant yourself permission to feel again, to process, and to invest in yourself.

At least, that was the case for me. When loss happened in our family, we just had to hold on, cope, survive. I didn't grant myself permission to freely grieve until almost a decade later. I've learned the hard way that if I don't give myself time and space to grieve now, it will eventually show up anyways (albeit uninvited) - in the form of stress, anxiety, depression, and physical health problems.

It's not a fun thing that I'm championing here. Yay! Come grieve with me!? Yeah, right.

I know it's not fun. I'm risking a lot in order to reach and invite you into this online community. We're recently broken people, finding our way together, using art as our means to victory.

But I can't convince you to grant yourself this time and space that you so desperately need; that's your job. Up to the challenge? Quickly print and sign your own permission slip!
